I've said it many times lately that I can't come to terms with the fact that my babies are going to be three years old in a few short weeks.
Yes, I have a 6 month old, but Alyssa and Allison are my (and always will be) my babies.
After all, they are the ones that made me a mother. Whom I learned everything with. Changed everything for.
Thinking of their upcoming birthday puts a smile on my face, but to think of the rough journey that we faced still brings tears to my eyes.
On June 27th, 2007 @ 30 weeks gestation at 6:02 and 6:03 pm my world changed forever.
{sorry, i had to take pictures of pictures in order to post them. bad quality!}

Without them, life just wouldn't make sense.
I will be sad as they blow out their candles this year, but will also celebrate their lives. I will think of what almost didn't happen. Of the way things could have been.
I will be thankful that I am able to see my girls have their 3rd birthday.

Happy almost 3rd b'day! My GG is only 9 months old and I already can't believe how quickly time passes.
What an amazing journey you had with them..I can't wait to see them turn 3! :)
What memories these pictures bring. I remembrt when johnny sent the first picture with his cell phone. I cried and cried. I was so terrified. For them of course but for you and johnny also. So far away, so young, and all alone to handle everything. I needn't of worried! You and Johnny stepped right in to your roles as parents and were then and are now amazing parents! Love you all!
OH! What a sweet, sweet pre-birthday post.
They were such teeny tiny peanuts! What miracles they are :)
ps Coming over from Multiples & More. Congrats on being featured :)
Oh, what history they have together! Beautiful post :-)
What a beautiful post!
Our story is the flip of yours! We had our son first and 21 months later our twin girls. They were born at 29 weeks and spent 7 weeks in the NICU. Can't wait to check out your blog more and see more of the story of your girls, your lil' one, and your family as a whole!
