Stop the search party...

... I AM alive!

Johnathon got home on Friday morning and it has been go-go-go every since. I blame my 3 day absence on...

This beautiful blue eyed girl!
We spent an entire day, just the two of us girls!
Johnathon and I are trying to spend a little one-on-one time with each of the older girls. You know, let them see what it feels like to NOT have a twin. To NOT have someone following you around, being bossy, stealing your toys, eating your food. Also, to get that 100% attention from a parent. I decided to take Allison on a mother/daughter shopping day!!

She was all dressed up in her new hat...on sale at Walmart, but she loves it!
She didn't know what it was like to NOT have Alyssa stealing her food every time she looked away. I even noticed her scooting her food closer to her, almost protecting it! :)

She loved the attention. I was able to let her walk instead of always shoving her and her sister into a cart because I have the baby and can't chase after them.

We talked, laughed, sang and just had fun girl time.

She got to pick out a new outfit for her and her sister for the first time. I usually don't give them a say on what I buy. In true Allison fashion...she chose a dress. It was very cute, if I do say so myself!

She even got to chase after all of the birds.

"Here birdie, birdie, birdie!!"

She was so well behaved, I just HAD to spoil her rotten! She got new clothes, new shoes, toys, lots of junk food and even POP ('soda' for you weird ones. lol)
She was saying 'Hi' to people all day long. She wasn't shy at all...sound like anyone you know? At one point I caught her blowing a kiss to a little boy.

More chasing the birds!

I also went to Ikea this weekend and FINALLY bought this shelving unit I have had my eye on for a very long time.

It's perfect!

We are able to store all of the girls' favorite 'big' toys without them crowding the toy box...

...and Mommy still gets to put some pictures on display!

{see my fabulous new clock?}

I got it for a GREAT deal while shopping with little miss Allie!
I hope everyone had a wonderful, safe and productive weekend!

My sister-in-law, Becky, has her first prenatal appointment tomorrow! I feel almost as giddy as I do for my own appointments. :) Can't wait to see if she is expecting one little Farler or TWO!
