"You simply will not be the same person two months from now after consciously giving thanks each day for the abundance that exists in your life. And you will have set in motion an ancient spiritual law: the more you have and are grateful for, the more will be given you"
Sarah Ban Breathnach
- i just had to get on here and say what a great night i just had. johnny and i took the girls to a Family INDOC tonight to learn a little bit about johnny's ship, the Makin Island. basically, we heard a lot of what we already knew. he will be heading to Mississippi in March of 09 but the ship won't leave its port until June. the ship should pull into San Diego bay sometime in August and that is when and where it will be commissioned.
5 minutes into the brief a lady walked in...with a double stroller! i could not have been more thrilled. she had 4 month old frat. b/g twins. she also had a 2 year old little girl, who i later found out was a twin also. (her twin died at birth) i know this is going to sound insane considering i have a set of my own, but i was in awe of these two little babies. i thought this lady was extremely lucky and blessed. i have never met a mother in person who had multiple multiples! on more than one occasion i have thought about what the odds are of having another set, but come on! its so rare. of course, we exchanged numbers and i can only hope that we can become great friends.
by now you should know...i am a picture taking maniac. its almost like a hobby at this point.
i can't help it. i have such wonderful things to take pictures of!!
anyway, here are some of the many pictures that i took this evening as we sat outside to watch the sun go down. i hope you enjoy them like i have.
