Just an Update

Aren't they the cutest little stinkers?!

Not too much has changed lately, but it's about to. The girls will be going to my friends house for a couple of hours tomorrow and I am curious to see how it goes. The girls are rarely ever without me and when they are, there is always a familiar face. The girls have met Allie, but only twice. I really hope things go smoothly.

We tried to build a "clubhouse" today using some blankets. That didn't go over too well. Alyssa, of course,
tore it down within seconds. She is a force to be reckoned with. For Easter, Grandpa & Grandma Stone got the girls each a John Deere radio that sings songs. The girls LOVE them. They could sit for hours and just push the button and dance to the song that plays.

Johnathon is loving port! He went to the mall yesterday and to his surprise there was a casino inside. I'm sure he was like a little boy in a candy store. Today is his tour and he is more than excited about it. I can't wait to see all the amazing pictures he must be taking. He is such a sweetie. With the money he won at the casino he went out and bought each of the girls a t-shirt. He always has his girls on his mind and is such a great daddy!

happened to come across a few pictures of the girls when they were in the NICU the other day. As I was going through them, I couldn't help but almost cry. That was by far one of the hardest things I have ever and will ever go through. Just knowing that not one, but both of your children are laying in the hospital in their tiny isolettes with feeding tubes down their noses and their infant warmers on because they couldn't maintain good body temperature. Phototherapy lights EVERYDAY and ventilators to supply oxygen. IV's in their arms and legs and monitors that can make a parent's heart stop by letting out a single "beep". No one can truly know how this feels until they are going through it and I would not wish that upon my worst enemy. God was looking out for us and for some reason we were blessed more than I could have hoped for. Both of our baby girls not only made it out of the NICU in record time, but are happy and healthy today! I sit back daily and just watch my two little miracles at work. They are loving and energetic. They are truly each others best friends. Everyday they are learning something new and experiencing it together. I am so thankful for everyday that I have with them. I love them so much more than I ever thought possible. They are my everything.

Blessed is the man who perseveres under trial, because when he has stood the test, he will receive the crown of life that God has promised to those who love him.

James 1:12

God Bless
