-Daddy's Home-
can you tell they missed him?
i have the best view in the house
dancing with daddy

-the last few days have been kind of a blur for the twins and i. we had a long four hour flight to san diego on wednesday to have just one day of rest before johnny got home. by no means am i complaining...just tired. we weren't expecting johnny until 2 or later, but to our suprise, he was home and settled in by noon. :) we were thrilled! i have to be honest and tell you that i wasn't really sure how the girls would take to him being back in our daily routine....well, as you can see in the pics above, we have NO problem. from the moment the girls saw him, they had huge ear to ear grins on their faces. they have really enjoyed having him home to play with. as you could probably guess, nap times are a struggle becasue they know that daddy is home!! he is quite the softy and always wants to pick them up when they cry. ;) he'll learn quick! the girls have been showing johnny their latest dance skills and johnny has even taught allison how to clap.
johnnt is over in the corner with them now and i can't help but stare. he is reading to them and they seem to be mesmerized by every word that comes out of his mouth. it melts my heart just seeing the way that they look at him. i am amazed at how well he has them sitting still on his lap. not everyone has that skill...especially with these two girls. johnny was shocked at how grown up the girls are and how much they have changed. of course alyssa is stuborn and hasn't walked for johnny yet. we are going to have to work on that. we are getting ready to take a trip to the park and i can't wait to watch the three of them interact with each other. playing in the sand, swinging and going down the slide. i really do have the best view in the house. i makes me happy to know that the three of them are so happy.
i should have johnny's pics from panama soon and i will be sure to share them with all of you. some of them are just absolutely beautiful. he took a few sunset pictures and i couldn't believe that he got to witness this amazing view everynight.
