School Costume Parade

Alyssa and Allison had their costume parade at school today.

Alyssa is in love with all super heroes right now, especially Super Man.

Hehe, my little Super Girl!

Carving Pumpkins - 2014

We decided to carve pumpkins this weekend.

It was Alyssa and Allison's first time carving their own pumpkins and it was such fun.

This was a great sensory project for Jackson. He didn't take to the texture as well as I would have hoped, but it's a step in the right direction.

Alyssa was so mature today and I continue to be amazed by her.

Fun times!

Nightmare on 32nd Street - 2014

Today was Nightmare of 32nd Street.

I love this family picture, but I hate that my son is in his stroller next to us unable to be photographed.

Soon enough!

The girls got their faces painted and rode rides.

These girls are such good friends.

Then we headed to the haunted house on our way out.

The Moment You Have All Been Waiting For...

Halloween was a very busy day for us. Johnathon came home from duty, breakfast, church, naps, last minute details on costumes, babysitting the neighbor girl, getting dressed up...ugh!

By the time we were out the door to go Trick-or-Treating, I was ready to go back inside and head to bed. Please forgive me for the lack of pictures...

It's far too exhausting to attempt to get three little girls to all smile at the same time!

Daddy and his girls!
They did great and really enjoyed themselves.
Madelynn really stole the show...our little Cat in the Hat.
The girls got way more candy than can/should be consumed by such little girls...
luckily their Daddy and I are here to help out! :)
Are they not the cutest Thing 1 & Thing 2 you have ever seen?
That's what I thought!

Halloween Costume Ideas

With Halloween a quickly sneaking up on us and three kids to dress-up, costumes are on my mind. I have a few ideas, but nothing is standing out for me. I'm curious to see what you guys think.

Option 1: Cat in the Hat & Thing 1 and Thing 2

Obviously Alyssa & Allison would be Thing 1 and Thing 2 and we would have Madelynn sit in the wagon as The Cat in the Hat.

Option 2: The Flinstones

Johnathon and I would dress-up as Fred and Wilma and have our two little Pebbles. Madelynn would wear a simple purple sweat outfit and be our Dino.

Option 3: Disney Princesses and Prince Charming

The three girls and I would all dress up as a Disney Princess and Johnathon would be our one and only Prince Charming.

I feel as though this may be the last year that we can throw the twins into whatever costume we want and they be okay with it so we might as well take advantage of that. Madelynn will primarily stay in the wagon so she plays a minor part in choosing.

Please let me know your thoughts and I would LOVE to hear any ideas that you may come up with.

What are you dressing your little ones up as??
