Tib-Bits and Catching Up

We visited the pumpkin patch yesterday. It was our first time doing this as a family and the girls' first experience EVER. It was a blast and we all had a lot of fun.

Allison was being ornery tonight and pulled on my shirt revealing my bra. She looked at me puzzled and said, "Mommy, your boobies get dressed?". Weird and TMI to some...something I personally never want to forget!! She is so silly!

I had my mom take a picture of me holding Madelynn in the same exact spot that I took my weekly pictures while I was pregnant with her. It's amazing how much can change in less than a year.

Johnathon is here!! We spent the weekend at his sisters house soaking up her beautiful baby boy, Colton. He is precious, perfect and oh so adorable.

My mom had a small surgery today to remove the blood clot in her arm. When she clots, it makes it impossible to have dialysis...making that a HUGE problem for her. This is nothing new to us, but she now has a new doctor and dialysis unit so we were a little scared going into things. She came out of surgery wonderfully and everything was fixed. She now dialyzes in not only the same town in which my dad works, but in the very same hospital. She even got a slightly later time slot...which means she will be getting a few extra Zzzz's.

I am proud to announce that Madelynn's new favorite word is 'Ma ma'.
Thank you very much!

This morning Allison came to me with a request.

Allison: "Mommy can I get a band-aid?"
Me: "Sure sweetheart! Got get it and Mommy will put it on."

She trotted off and returned to me a few minutes later looking like this...

So there you have it! We've been busy and now we are trying to relax. It's a big weekend for us, Johnathon's first Father's Day as a Daddy to 3!! It's a very exciting time in our lives. Things seem to be falling into place perfectly and we are very happy.

The twins took a fabulous nap today, keeping their 'big girl panties' (pull-ups) on the whole time and keeping them dry. I'll post about that this weekend.

I feel horrible for not posting more often this week. Shame on me!!

Oh...I almost forgot.

I got my new camera!! It's the Canon Rebel XS and I am in love. All I can think about are the hundreds of pictures I will be taking this Summer and the memories I will be capturing!

It's a duty day. :( So it will be a long night for me!! At least I have a fabulous weekend to look forward to! xoxo
