It's been a great few days.
That's not to say that it hasn't been crazy, fun, chaotic, relaxing, exhausting and wonderful.
It's been all of that and more.
I'm excited to talk about my, I mean, Johnathon's next project...a farmhouse table!

It's no secret that our little table does not provide enough room for a family of five to eat dinner comfortably. As of right now, Madelynn sits on a bar stool that I snagged from a garage sale for $1.
It's very important to me that this table not only be large enough for our family, but able to sit a few guests as well.
We'll be heading to Home Depot in the next few days to start the planning process. I can't wait to keep you updated and finally show the ending result!
. . . . . . . . . . . . .
I can't believe that it is already Saturday. Days are just flying by and so much is happening.
We had a pretty good 4th. It was a gloomy and cloudy day here in San Diego and it even rained for a bit in the afternoon. We headed out early for Old Town and enjoyed the festivities there. They had a small parade, crafts for kids, and much more. The girls all had a blast and we didn't let the weather ruin our day.
We had a simple dinner followed by a Disney movie. We decided that with the cloudy sky, fireworks wouldn't be worth the time and effort of fighting the crowds so late at night.
We made a good choice because the San Diego fireworks weren't worth getting out for this year. You'll have to search it on YouTube and watch how 20 minutes of fireworks went off in less than 30 seconds.
That's it for now.
xoxo
