I've been a little MIA lately and I just wanted to catch everyone up on the chaos that has been going on lately.

Alyssa & Allison have hit their fussy, nothing is right, I'm going to cry for no reason stage. It's incredibly annoying and on most days it makes me want to cry.

But they sure are cute.

I've also had to think a little outside of the box when it comes to putting them to bed for the night. We've done the whole take them back to their room thing 1000 times a night...each! We tried the shutting their door...with a door knob guard...covered in duck tape! We tried a variety of gates...they climbed over.

I eventually had enough. I doubled up on the gates and put duck tape over the light switch. I have to admit, a part of my feels a bit horrible for making it seem like a huge cage, there is this other part of me...a HUGE part of me. That part feels relief. I'm not sure how long this will last, but for the moment it's giving me time to breathe.

Our little Madelynn is 14 months old and getting more adorable by the day. She is taking around 10-12 steps at a time and I will do my best to get a video up of her doing so. She knows she is accomplishing something fantastic and celebrates each and every time that she does a good job. I have her eating 100% what we eat. I say 'I' because her Daddy is still a little scared and chooses to feed her infant cereal still. {sigh} Good thing he has duty every 6 days! :)

I mentioned last week that life was just about all I could handle lately. Well, as luck would have it, it just got more complicated. I am an emotional wreck and for the first time in my life, I have chosen to keep it mostly private. I'm a gabber, a story teller, an enjoyer of chit-chat...aka: I like to talk. Lately I just haven't felt the need to publish my every thought.

Tomorrow I will be babysitting my neighbors daughter because her 4 week old baby was admitted to the hospital this morning. They are unsure what is wrong, but my heart breaks for them. Tomorrow I will have 2 three year olds, 1 two year old and 1 one year old. Oye!! Say some prayers for me too. haha. :)

My mother-in-law was also recently diagnosed with breast cancer. That's about all I feel comfortable enough to share right now, but prayers are always welcome.

I would love to hear your own stories. Have you or someone you know had, battled and won a fight against breast cancer? Please share!
I just loved this next picture too much not to share it with you all. It's from a maternity session I shot today. Doesn't she look fabulous? She is having a little boy!!

Thanks for listening to an over stressed, under rested momma of three redheads.
God Bless, xoxo

Hang in there - when it rain, it pours sometimes but just put on your boots & open your umbrella and hang in there.
Both of my grandmother's have had breast cancer and won the battle. My meme passed away many years later with a stroke (no relation to the breast cancer) and my Granny is still living and doing well. You and your MIL are in my prayers.

Allow God's Grace and strength to be sufficient for you. No one expects life to be peachy all the time. When you have 3 or 4 kids sometimesyou just don't handle life. I'll be praying for you and praying that God's hands suround you!
