My sister, My friend

I'm not sure if I have introduced her before, but I would like you all to meet my little sister, Cassy.

Now, I say 'little', but she is only 7 months younger than me and even a few inches taller.

No matter which way you look at it, she's my little sister. :)

I first met Cassy when I was 10 and we soon became best friends. I think we have a unique relationship and one that many people don't understand.

We were sisters before we were friends (foster care), we were friends when we weren't sisters (she went back to live with her biological family), we were best friends who got our ultimate wish...we became sisters!

We've been through a lot, the good and the bad.

I was in awe as I took these photos...knowing my little sister was about to become a mom.

We now both have daughters only 9 short months apart.

There is no doubt in my mind that they, too, will be the best of friends!

Just wait until I post little Audrinna's newborn pictures and talk about her birth story!!

She is the cutest little thing I have ever laid my eyes on...
