Way Back When-esday!!

As Madelynn's first birthday quickly approaches...ahem, TOMORROW...I thought it was only fitting to post a few pictures of her big sisters at that age.

I can't believe just how big my babies have gotten. Now they are big sisters to a little cutie that age and it is fabulous watching them interact.

Way Back When-esday!!

At this very time 3 years ago...almost to the day, these were our little girls!

At just over 8 weeks in the NICU, our girls were finally able to co-sleep in the same open crib. It was a day I will NEVER forget.

We showed up at the hospital fully expecting to see our babes in their familiar incubators and to hear about how they wouldn't bottle feed. :(

Imagine our surprise when we learned that they had been moved across the hall to the 'Feeders & Growers' room and were in the SAME crib. Not only that, but if you look very closely you will notice that Alyssa (baby A on the left) is without her feeding tube. This was the first time we successfully fed her the whole bottle and she was able to keep it down!

This was a HUGE day for us. A milestone!

Way Back When-esday!!

I thought that it would be fun to play along with Cheryl @ Twinfatuation and post some old pictures of the twins. These particular pictures are from when the twins were exactly Madelynn's age. In my opinion, there is no resemblance AT ALL! haha, yeah right!

As if a look into the future, Allison is the calm baby sitting quietly next to me and Alyssa would be the ornery baby crawling towards her daddy taking the picture! Some things never change!

Here they are a few weeks later with their little "boy-toy" Tyson. Isn't Alyssa's face priceless? I swear it should be on a postcard or something. hehe.
That was fun!

Isn't it neat to see how big they have gotten over the last 2 years?? This may become a weekly treat!!
