As most of you know, I am a military wife, so this subject hits a little close to home for me. My dear hubby will be spending all of New Year's Eve on his ship. (It's his duty day) That got me thinking about all of the men and women who spent Thanksgiving, Christmas and any other holiday out to sea, over seas or just far away from home.
I decided to bake until I dropped today so I could send just over 100 yummy peanut butter cookies to work with Johnathon. The only people on the ship tomorrow are those who have duty and can't go home at all. I figured a HUGE batch of cookies might lighten up their spirits a little and make the fact that they are missing out on parties and celebrations a little easier.
So, here they are...
Cookies...
Cookies...
And more Cookies!!
And more Cookies!!
I was extremely proud of myself...out of over 100 cookies, I only ate 2 small ones! Go, Sarah!
Madelynn is just growing like a weed...seriously! She is literally half the size of my 2 year olds. Her cheeks are getting bigger by the day and I swear she is starting to lose her neck! haha. Her head is getting so big that 3-6 month clothes are hard to get over the darn thing!
I must admit though...the one thing I wanted this time around was a roly poly chunker of a babe! :)
Anywhere you see the Madster...you also see Allison!
