Alright, I'm jumping on the bandwagon!
Keely over @ MannLand5 has a fabulous bloggy carnival every Thruday.
It's super simple.
Just list 5 things that made you feel happy, excited or giddy this week.I think it's a great idea. Who doesn't love to look back at their week and pick out at least 5 moments that made you feel fabulous!? If you have time, you should totally check out Keely's blog. She's so fun and her blog is ultra cute!!
Here's my 5:
1. My two older daughters. It feels as though they have grown up sooo much in the last week. They are talking more, having better conversations, understanding things better and I swear they have grown a whole inch! :)
In the last week, I'm not sure why, I have found myself missing them when they are just in the next room. I want to give them EVERYTHING they want just to see them smile. I get the urge to wake them up at night just so we can cuddle in bed. They are so affectionate with me lately and love to snuggle on the couch while watching cartoons. I'm in love!
2. My house is actually clean today. I mean CLEAN...it's sparkling today! This doesn't happen everyday, or even every week. haha. It makes me smile to walk from room to room. I have no dishes to do (as of right now), my last load of laundry is in the dryer, and I even made my bed. Woo-hoo!
3. We went to dinner this week as a family. Just Johnathon and I and our three young children. To my amazment, the twins were wonderful! They sat quietly and actually ate a ton of food. Madelynn was asleep most of the time and only woke up long enough for her Daddy to feed her a quick bottle. Dinner went so smoothly, we even went to Target afterwards!!
4. Alyssa and Allison are officially into dress-up! They insisted on wearing their Halloween costumes to the said dinner that I mentioned above. They even wanted to wear them the next day...WITH their tutus. It is precious to watch and they have so much fun. I love seeing their imagination at work.
5. My mom always makes me happy. She knows just what to say (or not say) to help me get through my day. She made me extra happy this week by keeping me complany (over the phone) yesterday as Johanthon was away on the ship. Yes, yesterday was a dreaded duty day!!
That's my five for this week.
No, I didn't forget about my darling Madelynn. She is getting her very own post later this week. I have lots and lots of pictures!!
xoxo
