Our life @ random...

I have many Easter pictures to share with all of you, but I seem to be falling about a week or so behind in the bloggy world.

oopsie!

As many of you probably already know, southern California suffered a few earthquakes on Easter afternoon. I was awoken from a nap and the whole experience was one that I will never forget. It started as a shake and soon my bed was being thrown against the wall. We woke all 3 sleeping girls up and ran {for lack of better word...it was hard to move too quickly} them downstairs. By the time we calmed down enough to decide to go outside...it was over.

I'm relieved that it was nothing more serious than that, but it has me wondering.

There was an earthquake on Easter?

The earth shook on Easter?

I can't help but think of the story I read to the twins earlier in the day. About how the earth shook and an angel came down from heaven.

Just a little food for thought!

. . .

We are still going strong with the schooling of the twins. Everyday gets a little more fun and the girls are learning so much, so quickly.

Alyssa & Allison seem to be learning at different speeds depending on the subject.

Alyssa seems to favor letters and has a very VERY good memory! She can now recognize 20 of the 26 letters of the alphabet, can read a few sight words, knows all shapes and colors.

Allison on the other hand is better in an artistic way. She is writing some of her letters, the best being an "A". She is becoming a pro at drawing people...including their hands, feet and even Grandpa's hat. Alyssa is a little more of a Picasso. Her eyes and mouths are not always on the head, but they are somewhere on the page. :)

Allison colored in her polka-dots on her egg.

Allison's "A".

Everyday I am so thankful for my amazing husband!

He is so hands on and active in the parenting process.

Madelynn is now holding her own bottle (@ 5 months).

Easter pictures later!!
